The FLAYED project was born at the beginning of 2013 on Julien’s initiative, guitarist, who had already made up several pieces and asked some of his buddies to record them. The alchemy between the musicians sets at once, the Flayed project was born and from there everything goes really fast for them. Each of their performances never going unnoticed, gigs are quickly linked: they performed at the Jazz a Vienne festival, opened for Orange Goblin or Crowbar, supported the German band Nitrogods for their first French tour and they played at the Sylak Open Air. They also won the springboard of Guitare en scène festival and are already scheduled for the 2015 edition.
The project is young but each of his members has already showed his ability in other formations (God Damn,Anaaa, Angela Parker, Decent, Butchery, Yak) with several hundreds gigs to their credits (among it opening supports for international headliners such as Lamb Of God, Eyehategod, Cannibal Corpse, Children of Bodom, Electric Wizzard, Hatesphere, Alabama Thunderpussy, Devildriver, Cynic, Loudblast, Mass Hysteria, Ultra Vomit Morbid Angel, Behemoth, Krisiun, Vader, Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition.
Inspired by legends of the Hard rock such as AC / DC, DEEP PURPLE or still BLACK SABBATH, Flayed imposes its own style: an explosive cocktail of Hard rock with catchy riffs, tremendous soloes, a powerful voice, an organ Hammond which gives a good 70’s kick and a high dose of groove! It is this very particular style and their catchy scenic performances that make the Flayed machine unstoppable!
After a noticed debut album entitled “Symphony For The Flayed”, they get back on french roads and even canadian ones to promote their new album MONSTER MAN whichbeen released on October 26th 2015 still by Klonosphère and Season Of Mist, they signed a deal with the KAOTOXIN label to release the next EP ( ELEVEN MILLION) on november 4th2K16.
